Watch not available (can't connect) in the Studio?! So what now?

ANSWERED

I finally received the Versa this week. And today I got a moment to try to test the SDK. But man this thing is just a big time waste. When I got it it took about 3-4 hours before it even showed a watch face. Something about the servers. Now, I finally managed to do a long logout and then login dance before my phone could connect in the Studio. This after consulting this forum. Stability on these things doesn't even feel like alpha...Well, have for an hour been trying to get the phone to become available in the Studio. No luck at all. Been trying everything I could think of. Charging, re-pairing, rebooting, monitoring WiFi connection (watch seem to loose that very quickly).

So, how can I get my Versa to become available in the Studio?

Please advice a solid way to get that. Thanks.

Please note that I have a full schedule anyway and I want to try this thing in my spare time. Which means I don't have that much time to spend (from other things like kids, work and life)

Accepted Solutions

There were some server issues yesterday, but these are mostly resolved now.

Your Versa needs to be on at least 25% battery, with wifi configured. Then enable the developer bridge on the watch in Settings > Developer Bridge.

Ah there! There is also a new setting in the watch! The pebble didn't have that, somehow it was enough that there was an option in the mobile app. Finally!

Thanks!

I am having the same issue. I can connect to FiitBit Studio with my phone but I cannot connect to the Versa.  Also, on the watch, I don't see any option with the word "developer" in the settings menu, -its for the stats the easily track with Fitbit today.

Hi dude, i was trying to make it workon mine and i got a solution:

1. Connect to your fitbit Studio

2. Open your fitbit app in your phone and openfitbit menu device

3. Open the developer Menu and connect your fitbit app to the developer studio

4. Connect your fitbit to a wifi network (preferably to the same network as your phone).

5. On your fitbit open your settings app (yes is an app) and almost on bottom you will see developer Bridge, just click it and you will get your fitbit connected to the studio!

Hope it works, it worked fine for me!

Saludos compa!!!!
