ANSWERED

We would like to evaluate the Ionic as a possible platform for raceQs app but are unable to locate specs of the platform.

Is there a reference source that will provide insights into such issues as

Screen resolution, color palette,  fonts,

Processor - available memory, persistent storage capacity,

Ui - buttons, touch screen  resolution.

VM environment

Is there still no device emulator?

We will be publishing comprehensive design guidelines soon, in the meantime you'll find some information on the product page, expand each "learn more" section. For example, in the Design & Specs section you'll see Tech Specs.

  • The screen resolution is 348x250, 16bit RGB 565, 302ppi
  • The JavaScript VM is Jerryscript.
  • There is no emulator or simulator at this time.
  • Fonts and other development information is published on dev.fitbit.com

I hope this helps.

That's a great start, thanks. I'm sure I'll have more questions.

Since no Sim, any chance of a developer's edition to ease the pain?
