I was just following the "Getting Started tutorial" to add an image behind the clock. I converted a family photo to the required 348x250 pixel format in .jpg format using the open source imaging processing tool GIMP. However, when I build and run the app on the Ionic I get the error "Error 0 pjpeg_load_from_file returned NULL".
Funny thing is that if I create a .png the result is fine.
Any idea what is causing this error for the jpg?

You could try making sure it's a baseline instead of a progressive jpeg

A little off topic, but can I ask how you added the image to your project? I'm using the web version of Fitbit Studio and can't seem to figure out how to add files from my local machine to the project.
Thanks,

Thanks for posting your problem. I was having trouble too. After reading your question I tried .png and it worked.

Thanks for your reply. I am able to change the picture when I use a .png. I was just thanking that person for providing the solution.

Sorry, I was doing a reply to jbraden! I used "Quick Reply" and thought it would quote their question.
