"Stats" clock face animations

Hi everyone,

 

I looked around but didn't saw any examples of potential animations such as the ones seen on the "Stats" clock face.

 

Curious what would be the most efficient way to do an animation such as the hours & minutes digits transition animation.

 

Has this clock face been open source or are there any similar examples around?
