simulator doesn't provide acceleration in Windows 10

Newbe.  Fitbit studio does not detect acceleration in the latest Windows 10 fitbit simulator (ionic) but does detect the other sensors.  For other watch device types acceleration and some other sensors are not detected.  Am I missing a setting somewhere?
