Accessing Alexa seems so cumbersome. Do I really have to click on apps and scroll down to alexa every time I want to use it? Is there another, shorter, way?

Yes from the watch when awake (touch the left button or wrist twist) scroll down, then select the settings gear. Scroll to shortcut and select it, then set up long button press for alexa when set up a long press on the left button will open alexa

If you double click the side button, a quick menu with Alexa and wallet will come up. I set Alexa to long press or the side button which Armourd already explained the process for.
