I have posted earlier that my fitbit was not auto-starting my bike ride via Bike Detect feature and the only way I got it to work again was to do a factory reset. After a few days, that feature stopped working again. I don't want to do a factory reset, instead re-install the Exercise app. But I can't find any uninstall option for that app, unlike the add-on apps, which I can uninstall.
Is there a way to unistall those apps? Or at least allow me to clear any data that is preventing the Bike Detect from starting.

Hi @phatbitzr - you can't uninstall the default apps on the watch, the only way to refresh them is a factory reset.
However that might not be the problem with the auto detect.
Try button press, select exercise, select bike and swipe up to adjust settings and curiously turn off auto detect (turn off GPS which isn't used with auto detect), then exit. This may produce a better result in the Fitbit App after the ride.
If you want to see activity results during the ride start the ride manually with the parameters you choose (with the appropriate settings using the swipe up settings).

@Guy_That is what the fitbit is doing now. Bike Detect is not auto-starting, so auto-detect starts in the background. But the fact that Bike Detect stopped working until I do a factory reset is my main concern.
And now, after removing the Exercise Tile from the app, where it propogated to the Sense 2 successfully. I added the tile back to the app. But the Sense 2 does not see the app, no matter what I do (move its position, remove/add back tile).

@phatbitzr - if tile changes are not working correctly, did you try Logout of the Fitbit App and swipe off the active window and in Android clear the storage cache and force stop it and then restart the phone? Also restart the watch.
Bad syncing with some versions of the Fitbit App can and may be the cause of the issue which a factory reset resolves temporarily but should be a last resort remedy.

@Guy_Thanks, all those steps restored my Exercise tile. But Bike Detect is still not automatically starting recording my ride. Something is telling the Exercise app that I am not riding my bike. Either that or exercise auto-detect started recording in the background, thus Bike Detect does not start.

Thanks @phatbitzr - to be clear, with the suggested settings you won't see a bike exercise on the watch, it will only show in the Fitbit App when the ride has finished and the watch has synced.
Auto detect on the watch (if you use it) can take time to start, whereas in the Fitbit app it triggers once the criteria are met for auto detection, probably 10 minutes such that the first 10 minutes should form part of the ride.
If you really want to be sure to record the whole ride start it on the watch manually.
Maybe some expert bikers can offer more assistance.
