I rashly assumed that the latest device (Sense 2) would have ALL the features of previous devices (Sense), such as the ability to add external apps like C25K and Spotify. It turns out that the only apps I can get are the standard ones created by FitBit. Why is this and when will it change?

Hello @BobbyJoe3 and welcome to the Community.  This was a Fitbit decision and no explanation was ever given.  It won't change.  Fitbit didn't release a software development kit (SDK) for the Sense 4/Versa 4 and said there are no plans to release one.
