My Sense 2 just passed the 2 year mark and I’m noticing odd behavior.
1. The battery used to last 5 to 6 days and know I have to charge it every 2 days or it’s down to 25%. I’m not on Fitbit Premium and have changed nothing.
2. The clock face I’ve always used is SpO2 Signature by Fitbit. Seems like ever since the battery issue stated this is acting oddly. Many times I look and I have the screen format but no data showing. When this happens I have to shake my wrist a couple times to get data to show. Other times the face will fade out or disappear. When this happens only a restart will bring it back to normal.
I’m afraid it’s reaching end of life. Does that sound correct? Has anyone Les seen these symptoms and does it mean it’s slowly dying? I have a three year Asurion warranty on it but am concerned they won’t do anything until it totally dies.

Hi @TonyMan - an SpO2 specific clock face is not recommended for the best use of your watch.and it can be a possible cause of battery drain.
The system only calculates an SpO2 value once for the night and as it doesn't change, more useful things can be shown instead. The Spo2 can still be seen in the stats on the watch.
So things to try.
First try switching to another clock face but some of the symptoms do tend to indicate a failure
And make sure to have Always On switched off (pull down on the watch face and turn all icons off) and a proper sleep schedule defined.
Given the number of issues with the Fitbit App it may be worth also trying a few days with Bluetooth turned off, except when you sync manually to see if it helps battery life, if the other modifications don't help.

The face I’m using I have used for over three years without any battery issues, my first Sense 2 developed an issue and I had to get a new one. I’ve always kept Bluetooth on, without issues until recently. I guess I’ll have to contact Asurion to see how bad the situation has to be for them to replace it.

Well, it’s staring to look like Guy_ had the correct call, I tried a different screen, charged it up yesterday, and now, 23 hours later it’s at 88%. I dot quite understand why the other face worked for a couple years then started draining the battery, but at least I feel like I don’t need a new Sense 2. I’m going to see how long it takes till I need a recharge, then will update this. If things go well, I may try the other face as a test just to satisfy my mind and will update on how that goes.
Thanks for the help.

I’m calling it fixed. After 4 days since the charge, it was at 36% this morning. I probably could have waited till tonight to charge again. Looks like a charge will last at least 4 1/2 days. For a two year old device that seems fine.
Thanks again to Guy_.
