Very Disappointed, if I had known it wouldn't show steps taken/steps needed would not of purchased it.

It does but it’s not as easy as on previous Sense Fitbit, you have to go into the today screen on your watch and scroll down to find it. I’d really like a clock face that shows hourly steps too but not found one yet? Please correct me if you come across one

I feel your pain! I've been a Fitbitter for 11 years since the Ultra, owning 8 different models. I don't love my Sense 2, either, even though it has the most advanced health metrics. My Ionic and Versa 2 were way more customizable than Sense 2. I really miss my Flashlight app and better clock faces, and being able to customize what I see on a button double-tap.

Google owns Fitbit now and wants you to buy a Pixel Watch. Because of this, like many devoted Fitbitters who feel abandoned and frustrated, I'm planning on jumping ship and buying a Samsung or Iphone watch when my Sense 2 dies.

Sense 2 forces you to find a work-around instead of letting you choose your own path. That said, there's no longer a way to see hourly steps on any of the clock faces for Sense 2 because they're trying to force you into their belief that Zone Minutes are the most important. I'm a fitness freak and always exceed my Zone Minutes, so don't care about seeing them on my clock face. I want to see my hourly steps.

Here's are the fastest ways to get there:
  1. On your watch, click the button and go to the Today screen.
  2. Long press Hourly Steps and drag it to the top of the screen.
  3. Drag Steps to just under it in the number two slot.
  4. Now, as long as it's the last thing to looked at, it'll pop up first when you look at Today.
  5. Alternatively, make Today's Activity your second screen next to your the default clock face (this doesn't work with 3rd party clock faces) and whenever you click on the number of steps, it will open the Today screen and bring you right there to hourly and total daily steps. You have to rearrange phone screens through the app, not the watch. Hit the watch icon on the app screen to find that.
  6. The hourly steps reminder vibration isn't strong enough for me to notice it on my Sense 2 (even though I have it on Strong Vibration) unless I'm sitting still, so I make alarms that go off 10 minutes before active hours to remind me to look to see if I did my hourly steps. Since there are only 8 alarms and I do 12 daily active hours, I don't have alarms set for regular gym or commuting times, and look at my history to see when I'm generally more active and less in need of an alarm. It's a pain. Anyone know if Samsung watch lets you have unlimited vibrating alarms? You could also repeat an hourly countdown every hour at the 50 minute mark, but that's too much to remember when I'm busy during the day.

Hope this helps! Have a healthy, happy and active year!

I agree.  It has been two years and people even return the watch rather than lose that tile.  Please reinstate the tile that shows how many steps needed to reach 250 steps per hour!

Hello @Cyn6 and welcome to the Community.  Your hourly steps are available as one of your Today stats, except that Fitbit changed how it works.  You can get to your Today screen by tapping on the tile in @richwolf's screenshot (that's your Core Stats tile), tapping on your Main Goal tile or by short pressing the button and opening the Today app.  Swipe up on that screen and add Hourly activity, if not already there.

Fitbit changed how this feature works with the Sense and Versa 4.  Instead of seeing your running hourly total throughout the hour, you only see your progress and steps left if you get the 10 minute vibration.  You might have 25 steps or all 250.  You just don't know until you get the vibration.

I don't know why Fitbit thinks this is an upgrade, but it certainly isn't one.

I'm asking to put back how many steps until I get to 250. Everybody is
asking for this. Taking it out was stupid. Fitbit/Google should listen to
their customers! I came really close to getting the Garmin Vivoactive 5
instead. I also dislike how you buried the type of exercise you are
doing. Took awhile to find it. It shouldn't add more steps than the prior
version!

I've got this clock face. It's very customizable with colors and what you want in all the various spots. It wasn't free, but it wasn't insanely expensive either. It's called Arrows by Lignite

Hi, as @auntpurple41398 has mentioned you may find clock faces which partially solve the new V4 Fitbit App problems by showing hourly steps directly on the clock face which can be seen at a glance.

I use SimpleClockPro which shows how many steps done (or left to do ) for the hour, how many active hours done and left to do, and the steps history for each hour of the day, more importantly it gives you multiple reminders to move so you keep active and other features.
