Bring backthe ability of users to control music from their smartphone through music controls on the Sense 2. This was a basic feature that was available before and has been removed. I do not want to pay for a subscription to Spotify or YouTube music and want to be able to control the music that I already have on my phone and was able to control before.

@Marie1985 I'm sorry, but Fitbit/Google have no plans to add this feature to the Sense 2 or Versa 4.

Good to know. I've been a fibit user for years, but they'll be losing me as a customer.

You can use YouTube Music to play audio stored on your phone.

I can't access my recently added Playlist that I have on my current music player. I had to create a new Playlist on youtube music with these songs everytime I download new music. Also I tried to control the music while I was working out on my fitbit and it told me I had to subscribe to premium YouTube music to access this feature. I'm not paying $11 a month to play my own music that I was once able to control for free with my fitbit.

Sorry you're having these difficulties, it sounds frustrating.
I'm able to play audio files stored on my device through YouTube Music (as long as they are not encrypted e.g. Spotify downloads. I'm also able to control playback on my phone by using the YouTube app on my Fitbit. I don't pay for a YT account. I can also play YT music tracks on my phone and control it with my Fitbit.
Hope you figure it out!
