Fitbit Sense 2 Does Not Vibrate for message notifications

I have a Fitbit Sense 2 that I've been using for months now. It has always vibrated on message notifications until this last week. I keep missing texts because I'm not noticing them come in. 

I have disconnected the bluetooth and reconnected. I've turned the vibrate notification off in the app, sync'd and then gone back and turned it back on and sync'd again. I've cleared the cache on the app, force stopped and restarted it. I've checked the settings again in the app and on the watch itself. Nothing seems to work. 

The vibration itself works just fine and happens when my move reminder goes off or even when I receive a call! But not for a text...

I’ve been getting this too. I’ve tried everything I can think of. Full factory reset of sense, unpair, re-pair etc. only a handful of my apps are showing as available to receive notifications from. One of my resets caused WhatsApp to appear here and I was able to set notifications to on, but they still didn’t vibrate. Now after another reset, jt‘S disappeared again. It’s driving me nuts. Hence I came on this forum
