Can I set HR as the initial screen on Sense 2?

On my old Blaze Fitbit watch, I could swipe to the heart rate display and it would stay there until I clicked a button to revert to the clock. But when I open the Sense 2 heart rate display, it keeps reverting to the clock display after a few seconds. The heart rate is shown on the clock face, but it's too small for me to read unless I squint or wear my reading glasses while I'm exercising. I like the Sense 2, which I recently got as a gift, but I wish there was a way to keep the heart rate display until I'm done with it, like with the Blaze.

Hi @LF5 - try changing the clock face to another with a larger heart rate display, such as SimpleSports made for seeing the most salient information at a quick glance, either on your arm or rotated on your wrist when worn normally.

@LF5   Do you use the Exercise app when you are working out?  The screen shows a top, middle, and bottom stat.  You can have your heart rate as your model stat.  You combine that with a feature that is not on the Blaze -- an Always On Display setting in the Exercise app.  Here is an example for the Run shortcut:

  • Open your Exercise app and select Run
  • Swipe up on the tiny "^", scroll to the bottom, and turn on Always-on display
  • You can also customize your top, middle, and bottom stats

This is different from the Always On Display in the device settings (swipe down on the clock face).  This AOD setting puts the clock face in a low power mode, one that will show the time, but nothing else.

My husband still wears his Blaze, because he works in a secure facility.  If you can describe, in detail, how you saw your heart rate, I might be able to see if there is something like that on the Sense 2.

I don't think @Guy_ 's clock face will help.  I put it on my Sense 2.  It is in a rotated position and there are no settings in the clock face details to change it.  It's AOD display is a generic clock face.

Hi @LZeeW - you need to follow the instructions provided for the SimpleSports clock face to get the view you want.
