Hi there were lots of apps I could have installed from the gallery listed in the Fitbit app when I first got my sense 2. Now I can only see the apps I have installed. Any advice please. It's not because they aren't available as per other posts as they were available and now are not. Thank you ☺️

The UK seems to be affected, too. All third-party apps and clockfaces disappeared in Gallery (I have the original Sense).

You are comparing number of apps you can see now to number of apps available when you first got your Sense 2. But without knowing if you got your Sense 2 a week ago, or several years ago, that's tough for us to judge.
It is well-known that fitbit has been taking away features, and probably compatible apps, from its products, so if you are comparing now to say, years ago, it is quite possible that some of the apps have been removed. In particular, I believe fitbit no longer allows any user-developed apps, of which there used to be many.

Hi @ClaireM. - it may be because Google removed access to all non Fitbit clocks and apps in the online Gallery for EEA users effective June 2024.
Here are some details
Removal of Third-party Products from the Fitbit Gallery for EU Users in June 2024

Sorry I got my watch 2 weeks ago and am in the UK which is not listed to be impacted by the EEA ruling. Very odd. Thank you both for your responses is there a list of Fitbit apps so I can check if it is due to the EEA rule or just my app?
Many thanks
Claire

@ClaireM.- the Sense 2 does not support additional apps [except "find my phone"], but it can usually have extra [non Fitbit] clocks If the EEA ruling doesn't apply to the UK, but it seems to currently. May be another UK product expert can confirm.
Or do a Google search in your phone browser for any non Fitbit clock face supported on a Sense 2, select it and click OPEN APP to install it. If you see this screen then the ruling applies to the UK too already.

Thanks @Triletics for confirming.
Today the population of the UK and EEA combined is probably over 500 million people affected by this Google decision.

@Guy_ Google Fitbit seems to be getting more and more limited to the US market. Even latest Ace LTE is US-only device.

@Triletics I'm very confident that Fitbit will release the Ace LTE in other countries. I have hands on experience with the Ace LTE. The Ace LTE 4G coverage uses the Ace Pass, its own wireless service provided by Google. It isn't added on to the wireless service I use on my mobile phone. Ace Pass coverage is limited to the US and there is no international roaming. Fitbit must work out the LTE coverage in other countries.
