Can't find apps installed on my Sense 2

I see it in the gallery on my phone, it's up to date, but on my watch I can't find it.  I swipe every direction.  Swiping up is settings and down is notifications.  Left/right cycles through steps, today's activities, heart rate, sleep (no data yet, though I've worn it for 3 days), body responses, stop watch (which I don't need), weather (which I don't need), start exercise (don't need).  ECG installed Alexa, something else I see in the app, but not on the watch itself.  I get all manner of notifications about afib (which I can't seem to export and I'd really like to), but can't actually use the ECG app because I can't find it.

Help?

I click on the Sense 2 and look at my apps, I see ECG with "uninstall".  I look at my tiles, I do not have an ECG tile, or a "heart rhythm assessment" tile to add or remove.

Hi there, @MacAllen@LZeeW and @Gaddy128 Thanks for your great help!

@MacAllen Thanks for bringing this to our attention, and sharing the steps you've tried so far. Before anything else, let me clarify that the Tiles on screen were introduced on the Sense 2 and Versa 4, which differ from the tiles on the Fitbit app. The Sense 2 tiles allow you to check your daily stats and the weather, as well as start an exercise or the timer.

In regards to your inquiry, as our friends mentioned, you need to press the button once in order to access all your apps including the ECG app. For more information about how to navigate your Sense 2, please see this help article.

@MacAllen   I looked at your public profile and can see that you are a long time Fitbit user.  I hope you get the movie reference, but when it comes to navigating the Sense, you're not in Kansas any more.  It might be easier to read this version of the Sense 2 manual.  Here are some things that might help you:

  • The Sense 2 and Versa 4 introduced screen Tiles.  When you swipe left and right on the screen, you are swiping between your tiles.
  • You access ALL your apps by performing a short press on the button.  Swipe up/down to get to your desired app.
  • You can customize your tiles in your Fitbit app.  Tap on your profile avatar > Sense 2 > Gallery > slide the toggle bar at the top to Tiles > swipe up a little bit until you see Manage my Tiles > tap on that green box and you can remove your unwanted tiles. An "X" will appear on the far right and you can remove a tile by tapping on the "X".  You can drag the other tiles to different positions by pressing and holding on those six dots.  Drag it to your desired spot.
  • Here is a link to the ECG Help article.  The ECG app isn't available in all countries.
  • The is no Heart Rhythm Assessment tile.  Tap on your Discover icon on the bottom of your Fitbit app > look for Assessments & Reports > Irregular Rhythm Notifications.  If you get one, you are notified on your Fitbit app, not your Sense 2 device.

This isn't all inclusive, but I hope it helps.

I stopped using my old fitbit years ago, and I understand the tiles.  In the instructions to run an ECG test it says to click on the ECG app on my watch...I don't have one.  I don't have a tile for it either so I can't add/remove it.  Under assessments and reports, I have both "irregular notifications" and "heart rhythm assessments".  I'm getting the notifications on the phone, and I'm sending screenshots to my Dr, but I'd like to run the assessment, and that's where I hit the snag...no ECG app on my watch.

Clicking the upper left icon, Sense 2, Gallery, Apps, I see ECG there.  Clicking on ECG, I see Uninstall.

Back to Gallery, click Tiles...no ECG.  Click Manage my tiles, no ECG.  I'm in the US, I have the app installed, just can't find it on my watch or a way to put it on my watch.

I use the ecg daily on my Sense 2. Long press on the button activates it, and from that point you just follow the instructions. Quite simple.
