Cannot move to Google account because Android version too old to update Fitbit App

The message I received said I should first update my Fitbit App, before moving my Fitbit Account to Google. Indeed, I do not see the "move to Google Account" in my App, but Playstore refuses to install the latest Fitbit App on my old Android (8).

It's not clear whether my account is Fitbit or Google either.

What can I do?

Hi @Umbra55  we have until 2026 to transition to a Google account, but you will still need to have the minimum operating system. You can only get the latest version of the Fitbit app for the phone you have. I have an old Samsung 8 and it's running the old system and can't update to the newer app. For now, you're still on a Fitbit account. Unfortunately, your only option would be a newer phone or tablet compatible to the new app. click for information
