Hi everyone,
Just a heads-up for Sense 2 users - be cautious with the latest firmware update. My device got stuck in a boot loop during the update process, rendering it completely unusable.
Here’s what happened:
The device kept flashing the Fitbit logo, then going black, over and over again.
It wouldn’t sync, restart, or respond to manual factory reset steps.
After hours of troubleshooting with support, they confirmed that the update bricked the device, and I now have to send it back for a warranty replacement.
Tips to avoid this issue:
Hold off on updating your firmware until you see confirmation that the issue is resolved.
If you proceed with the update, make sure your Sense 2 is fully charged and stable (don’t move it far from your phone or Wi-Fi).
Do not unpair the device if you run into issues - it may make it harder to recover.
If you’ve experienced the same problem, I recommend reaching out to Fitbit support right away and asking about warranty options.
