My sense 2 suddenly stopped charging yesterday. I get messages saying it is not warm enough and when I have managed to get a little charge it lasts no time at all.

Sad to hear that you're having an issue charging your Sense 2.
Please have a closer look here to hopefully be able to troubleshoot this:

Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? 

If your device becomes unusually hot while charging, there may be a problem with the battery. In this case please stop charging your Sense 2 and contact the support team for further assistance.
