I have a Samsung Ultra 23, Sense 2.fitbit app installed. Watch is paired. Bluetooth says I'm paired BUT "an app is needed to use this device" I have un-installed and re- installed. Paired and re-paired. My watch gets the call but when i click on the icon on my watch it says "connection error there is something wrong with your connection" Sooooo frustrating!!! Please help!!

Welcome to the Fitbit community, @Jmeg1971!

Sad to hear that you're having issues with your Sense 2.
In hope you'll find an approach for troubleshooting, please have a closer look at the tips mentioned here:

Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

@Jmeg1971 ...  I have a Samsung Galaxy S21.  When I go into my Bluetooth settings and then go under "Advanced Settings" and tap on "Bluetooth control history" I see FitBit in there.  I wonder if you might have blocked the FitBit App from using Bluetooth???  Just a thought?

The other thing you might want to try is clearing the cache in the App settings on your phone.
