I have had the same yahoo email for 25+ years. I have used this with my Fitbit account for well over 10 years. All of the sudden this weekend I tried to log into my account and it was like I never existed. I tried to reset my password and no email was delivered. I finally called customer service and could barely understand the out of country rep that answered. She informed me that my email address did not exist in the system and seemed to be accusatory that I was not giving her the correct email. I set up a gmail account and got the password reset email immediately. I set up a new account using gmail but lost years of data. I was doing a fitness challenge so it is extremely frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this and if so, how did you get your data back? The Fitbit CS was worthless, pretty much called me a liar.

You can't get it back, that information is gone for good, sorry.

I found out a couple years ago that if you don't log into a Yahoo account for a certain amount of time (maybe a year?), they will delete your account completely. Happened to me, but I was able to reset my login, so at least I still maintain control of the email address (since it's practically my name and I used that email for so many years in high school and college, I don't want someone else to gain access and pretend to be me). But all my original emails, etc are gone. No way to recover it.
