Difficulty adding new device, Sense 2 to my Fitbit app

I’ve started the add device process. Got through “forget this device “ for my old Versa 4. Can’t get the Sense 2 to be recognized/added. I’ve checked my Bluetooth.  I turned it off/on and checked my Bluetooth  with another Bluetooth device and it’s working. My Sense 2 doesn’t seem to have Bluetooth ability necessary to complete setup.

  1. Restart Your Sense 2: Hold the button until you see the Fitbit logo to restart the device.
  2. Check Device Compatibility: Ensure your Sense 2 is compatible with your phone’s operating system.
  3. Ensure Bluetooth is On: Double-check that Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and is in pairing mode.
  4. Forget Old Devices: Ensure the old Versa 4 is completely removed from Bluetooth settings.
  5. Reset Bluetooth: Turn off Bluetooth on your phone, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
