Who thought this was a good idea? Just display the notification. I don't want to stare at my watch for 10 seconds every time because I have to watch a pointless splash screen notification. I literally got this as a smartwatch to mitigate my time spent pulling up my phone and checking notifications.
I'm assuming Google is trying their best to bury fitbit, but holy smokes. Between the Google Wallet "upgrade" removing card functionality, all app functionality removed, music functionality removed, wifi functionality removed, it seems pretty blatant that we're trying to kill the product at this point. I know this is probably a post in vain because it definitely seems like the absolute minimum is being done to support this release but if there is a God in Google somewhere who doesn't hate every single Fitbit owner, please help.
Please, PLEASE give us an option to skip the splash screen notification. So, so stupid.
