Distance stopped working

My fitbit "distance " stopped working. How do I fix this?

Hi, @Peanutmcdaisy , you don’t provide much information, but it sounds like you may be experiencing a bug which is affecting some users in which their distance is not calculating correctly.  Fitbit is aware of the issue and working on a fix.  You can find more info on this matter by following this thread .

As reported in that thread, many users (although apparently not all) have reported a temporary work around by manually adjusting their stride length.  You can do this in the app, and the instructions are here .
