ECG not working on sense 2

The ECG function does not work on the Sense 2. I only bought this watch because it had ECG on it.

On the first one I had it didn’t work so I followed the steps the reset/reinstall apps/switch from WiFi etc etc. but then the Fitbit wouldn’t connect to the app at all and I had to return it.

Now I have a new one, it is set up and connected to the app, but again it will not connect to ECG. (Stuck on the screen shown in the pic when you try to do ECG) The “discover tab” doesn’t seem to exist any more.

Is there a fix for this or shall I just return it and get my money back? I’ve been trying to resolve this since 25th December and I’m losing my patience.

I am sorry you are having issues.

Other than the ECG, does everything else sync fine?

Are you located in the U.S. or one of the approved countries? When I set the ECG up I had to have the Fitbit app bypass the VPN. 

If you have not tried it, turn your Bluetooth off and back on. Sometimes this resolves sync and connectivity issues.

Also you can force close the Fitbit app and re-launch it. This also can fix sync and connectivity issues.

Unfortunately, the latest Fitbit app can be quirky with syncing and connectivity.

Hi, thank you for your reply! I’m in the UK.

I just tried the ECG again and while it was in the error screen I turned the Bluetooth off and on, came out of the app, switched off my WiFi…. No joy. Then I tried it two more times and it’s worked! 

I had such problems with the first Sense 2 I was sure this one was doomed too 😂
