Error registering Sense 2 with Fitbit Pay

I just got a Sense 2 today and when I try to set up Fitbit Pay I get this error (see screenshot). I also don't have an option to change from Fitbit Pay to Google Pay which I would prefer as my main card is not supported by Fitbit Pay.  

 

Any help on how to resolve?

@Mairead287 Google Wallet hasn't rolled out to everyone yet. The Server was down for a while. Setup might work now. However, if you later switch to Google Wallet, you will lose anything setup in Fitbit Wallet. No idea how fast the rollout is occurring.

Thanks @Goosse1962 ... it's still not working right now. I'll leave it awhile and check again in a few hours.

If it still doesn't work, it is possible that something got stuck when the server was down. Close and reopen app on phone often clears minor issues. When that doesn't work, then I force stop and reopen. Next solution is to install any pending updates to the app before restarting the phone. These steps seldom fail for the issues I encounter. If it still doesn't work, then a call to support is usually needed.

@Goosse1962 Thanks for the assistance but unfortunately it's still not working. I've been onto support and they couldn't help so they've escalated it higher up the food chain. Now I just have to wait for them to get back to me. Thanks again!

If you get it working, be careful before switching to Google Wallet! I got my update and switched yesterday, only to find out the main credit card that I use that WAS supported in Fitbit Pay is NOT supported on Google Wallet. Even though I use it for tap-to-pay payments on my PHONE. I just cannot use it on my Fitbit. Very frustrating. Check your bank before you switch to Google Wallet just to make sure you don't get stuck like me. I can't switch back to Fitbit Pay either now so I can't use that card anymore on my Fitbit.

Try to clear data and cache of Fitbit Android app to get Fitbit Pay working.
