Fitbit have known about problems with incorrect recording of exercise days for years and will not fix this. I’ve just been on a two week walking holiday covering 15 to 31 km every day. My step count is fine but every time I look at the exercise days for those two weeks it is wrong. It shows 4/7 days or 5/7 days, sometimes only 2/7 days of exercise. When I manually add the hours of walking for the day in question it corrects itself, for a split second, then reverts to a wrong count again even as I am looking at it. It isn’t even consistent about which days it isn’t counting as exercise days. The so called support from Fitbit is rubbish, they don’t reply to emails or just palm me off with platitudes. Soft resets of my Sense 2 don’t help either and if I do a factory reset I will be stuck with the wrong data for ever. i am now considering a move to a more reliable device after 11 years with various Fitbits that have all worked well up until I got this Sense 2.
