Fitbit Apps

So obviously Fitbit are never going to change their mind about 3rd party apps being allowed on Sense 2 and Versa 4, but what about Fitbit Agenda, (an actual official Fitbit app) and the clock faces by Fitbit Labs

Why haven't these at least been allowed on Sense 2 and Versa 4 when they are on older models?!?!?!?!?!

I cannot understand how FItbit have allowed this nonsense to continue this long ever since Google ruined them.

And now apparently all devices will have 3rd party apps removed in Europe?                                                                             If 3rd party apps are going to be legally banned in Europe, Fitbit needs to start developing its own apps (like Fitbit Agenda) immediately and broker a deal with Spotify for on board music, and make these available across ALL devices.

What is the point in calling the Sense2 and Versa4 "smart watches" when literally all they are is trackers?! Fitbit are guilty of false advertising as Sense 2 and Versa 4. They were originally market with "hundreds of apps" but have zero features that previous Sense and Versa models did:

  • There is no access to anything in the Fitbit Gallery, not even official clock faces by Fitbit Labs or Fitbit Agenda app
  • No Spo2
  • No Google assistant
  • No on board music. if we want to listen to music while exercising we still need to carry our phones, which is completely ridiculous in this day and age! Who's genius idea was that?

Beyond disgusted at Fitbit's complicity with Google in allowing this to happen!! Shame on them!!!!

If they want to salvage anything left of their reputation, Fitbit will insist that they need to start developing its own apps to make up for all these blunders. Google will make more money if they let them.

I understand Google are pushing consumers to purchase the Pixel watches instead but stripping Fitbits to nothing will not make this happen, as people are returning their Fitbits and will buy Garmin instead of Pixels.

We don't need hundreds of random 3rd party apps to compete with google play store. We just need some practical ones mentioned above to actually make Sense 2 and Versa 4 proper smart-watches. We KNOW Fitbit has the capability to develop these so they need to start making deals with Google and Spotify now, or else watch their company become obsolete.
