Regret the sense 2

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I regret ever getting the sense 2. I feel like this bit can't function basic things like give me the ability to have a bloody agenda, google assistant, music control. Why are these basic needs not being worked on. On every platform ppl are complaining about the same bloody things and they are just ignoring.

I should have done my homework cox this sucks badly.

Anyone work around the agenda?

Hi @vermat51 - you are right there are quite a few things that were on previous models that aren't on in this Sense 2 or Versa 4.

If you are unhappy with the watch Fitbit have a 45 day refund policy or possibly authorised dealers too, some stores provide 14 to 30 day refunds.

That said while there is no agenda, the phone agenda can be setup to produce reminder notifications. But a different model or brand might suit you better.

The next thing to be removed in June 2024 from all smart watches is the majority of clock faces (and apps on older models)  if you live in Europe. You will then be able to download only Fitbit stuff, for how long is not known.

How is the Pixel Watch 2 in these regards?

@Victamon  - the Pixel Watch 2 and Playstore as such are not affected by the decision to remove non Fitbit clocks and apps yet but as it is not a comparable watch to Fitbit watches in terms of battery it is not an alternative.

@Victamon- see Pixel Watch 2 [for Android only phones] - quoted as all [1] day battery - a lot less than any Fitbit smartwatch [ can be 5+ days], or the 2 weeks for the Garmin Venu 3, which all work on Apple AND Android.

Well said as the Pixel watch is a smart watch and the Sense is a fitness tracker.  I think some people get these things confused and I can see why you would be upset but I do urge all to do their research first.

Because sense 2 and versa 4 were originally marketed with "hundreds of apps" and no-one knew until using them that they had none of the features that their previous sense or previous versa model had.

Why would anyone logically think the new models would be downgraded?
It was blatant false advertising.

To make things worse, Fitbit would not give a straight answer for months so we were all hoping that they would eventually allow 3rd party access and add the previous features.

Fitbit needs to rectify this and start developing their own apps and get google assistant and on board music ASAP

@MrRoundtree apparently, Fitbit is confused too. Maybe you should let them know Sense 2 isn't a smartwatch 🤷

My 4th and last Fitbit too many issues with my Sense 2. Earlier models were better. Glad I still have one that works perfectly.

@Triletics good catch, they used to call the Sense a fitness tracker.  Maybe it's an identity crisis.
