Fitbit Sense 2 only receiving call notifications not texts

My fitbit sense 2 is only receiving phone call notifications- does not receive text messages.  Have tried all suggestions online- checked bluetooth, fitbit app, deleted app, shut down phone...etc.  Did see one suggestion that says on the fitbit device go to settings, vibration & audio and then to make sure "allow call and text" is enabled.  I do not have that option on my fitbit device under vibration and audio.  My only choices under vibration and audio are - vibration and microphone??

Hi @LaurieAC @Stephmarie83 - it is probably due to a bug in the Fitbit App and your watch not syncing, and can only be resolved by Google, do not factory reset the watch because a second bug can stop you reinstalling it.

I have the same problem. I can get phone calls, but not text messages.

I contacted customer service- after checking several items we found that my
phone had a software update that I had not yet installed.
After installing the update my fitbit was receiving texts! 😀

Nice! This Fitbit is brand new, and I needed to check off that I want to
receive messages in the settings. Mine works great now.
