Google is all up in our personal business as it is, now it’s part of our Fitbit! I will no longer be using my Fitbit and I will advocate to others not to buy one now that google (in 2025) will be monitoring

Your Fitbit is vastly less intrusive than your smartphone. Anything your tracker has on you, your phone already has.

That’s nice but it’s one less thing I have tracking me and my family.
Again, I will spread the word. FitBit didn’t have to do this. There are
other watches out there to use or maybe just don’t use one at all.

But spreading false words is not nice. Your smartphone is the device that you should fear. The item on your wrist is not. You're basically telling people to put down a butter knife because it's dangerous while you're holding a loaded gun without the safety enabled.

Of course, you're free to do as you wish, but be nice and stop misinforming people.
