Fitbit sense charger

I am beyond ticked with the way Fitbit made the Sense charging. I have had to purchase 9 chargers already because the fricken prongs want to get stuck down and then not charge the Sense. Today I will be purchasing my TENTH charger because they are fricken junk! I would not recommend this watch for that pacific reason.

Hi @EmilyGobo - there can be issues with the charge cable but there is something wrong if there are that many failures.

It will require a very careful examination of the back of your watch to ensure there isn't a problem, such as a bit of plastic stuck still or an indented contact, and make sure the contacts are clean before each charge.

Always attach the cable before plugging in and unplug before detaching the cable.

If this isn't resolved and the watch is under warranty seek a replacement.

I have the same charge cable since over 3 years but charge about once per week, so if you charge every day the charge cable will get used more and may fail quicker.

If it helps at all, the Pixel watch 2 charger seems to be compatible with the Sense 2 and is of a better quality. The prongs seems to be a little thicker and the springs a little stronger. Perhaps if you ever need to replace the charger again it may be worth considering one of these.

Yep, me too… I’ve bought at least eight of theses.. I’ve tried different off brands and the expensive Fitbit brand. They all loose the use of the same exact peg every time.

Ive tried to take it apart and fix it but just destroyed the charger..

I may go to Apple Watch ..because now my sense is dead in eight hrs and I’ve turned off anything that uses any power at all.. it use to last a week.. not anymore

Hi @Tas92116 - if your watch dies in 8 hours it has a fault (it's not to do with usage unless GPS is stuck on).

If it's under warranty it can be replaced.

Did you have to replace the charge cables when it was having short battery life only?
