On my Fitbit Sense 2 there is only Alexa and no Google Assistant anymore.
Normally on my Pixel 8a I mostly use the new Gemini.
Is it possible to use it also on my Fitbit Watch? Is it possible that an update will activate it in near future?
Fitbit is Google so an assistant from Google should work and no Alexa. Don't like Alexa ...

Hi @GeoLemmi - Gemini inclusion for Fitbit watches is a good question.
Older watches had both Google Assistant and Alexa and only on the Sense 2 and Versa 4 was Google Assistant not implemented.
Google are threatening to remove the Assistant from the older watches too which is the opposite of what you would expect for a voice assistant, which would be invoking Gemini in it's place as the voice interface mechanism is already implemented and then adding it to the later watches.
However as Google are unfortunately trying to phase out Fitbit smart watches by removing stuff such as music support and GA on the older watches, any expectations of improvements or continuity of service is unlikely to get implemented.

Irgendwie scheint aber in der neuen Fitbit App sowas wie Gemini enthalten zu sein. Vielleicht werden wir überrascht und es kommt über den Weg zurück.
