Is anyone else having trouble with google maps on the sense 2? I’m trying to set mine up and I keep getting a “couldn’t complete set up” screen. I’ve updated all my apps and my Fitbit is up to date as well.

Hi there, @SJG_1977. @Mbagarus Welcome on board.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I understand how frustrating this can be and appreciate your efforts while working on this matter. So I can investigate on my end, please provide me with the model and OS version on your phone.
Also, on the Fitbit app tap your profile picture > Sense 2 > Gallery > Apps > Google Maps and let me know the version number that appears under Details.

I cannot speak for the OP, but I am having exactly the same issue with my Versa 4.
My phone is an iPhone SE (A2296) running iOS 16.4.1(a).
The version of Google Maps installed on my phone is Version 6.66.0.
The version of Google Maps installed on the Fitbit is version 1.0.0.

I re-started my phone and tried again... no success. I thought I'd hit Retry to give it one more go. This time it came up with the prompt to allow Google Maps access to Bluetooth (that prompt didn't appear before) and now it works!
So, for anyone having problems, try the good old "turn it off and on again" routine!
(thanks to JonFitbit for suggesting this)

I don’t know , that I could set google maps on sense 2 , I have an iPhone XR , had also issues, but I figured it out , go to the app settings on iPhone if you have iPhone ( I don’t know in android ) and set the location to always. This has fixed it to me .
