I have been using the sense 2 for a few months now.
I get the sense that fitbit has over promised and under delivered the google wallet and maps promised features
Most of my cards won't work with the Fitbit Google wallet. My Citibank Costco card is supported by my android Google wallet and not the fitbit. And that's not the only card.
And the promised maps are nowhere to be found.

If anyone from Google Fitbit is replying please don't bother with the prepackaged "contact your bank" or " coming soon" message. Please come up with something better for your customers a date or something.

Thanks for the detailed information, and the time taken while trying to get your Sense 2 working. I understand where you're coming from and I'm sorry you're having this experience. We're constantly working to improve the Fitbit experience, and the input we receive from our members helps us to make that happen.
While Google Wallet for Fitbit supports Citibank - Costco (Visa), could you confirm the rest of your cards are also supported? To do this, click here and check the list. Also, make sure you're currently located in a country where this feature is available. Additionally, let me know the model and OS version of your phone as this will help me to investigate on my end.
In regards to the Google Maps not appearing, this has been reported to our team and I'd encourage you to subscribe to this other thread so you can receive more updates.

@LizzyFitbit Thanks for sharing the bank list,
I am based in Australia and have been unable to add my card. Looking at the bank list my bank, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited is supported but only for Mastercard.
What's the process get Visa to the supported list for my bank?? My Visa cards from the same bank work on Google Wallet already on my phone.
Please advise as this is quite frustrating 😞

Just got my Sense 2 today. I’ve had my ANZ Visa card on 2 other Fitbits with no problems, but can’t get it to load from my android phone’s Google Wallet. I just get “something went wrong” please try again. I’ll keep trying I guess, it should work.

I also get “something went wrong” please try again when I select Google Wallet. I raised a case with Fitbit around 3 weeks back and they eventually tried to fob me off by saying that my bank was the problem. I have now had it confirmed by my bank that my card should work so I have now raised a new case with Fitbit.
It is obviously a Fitbit error that needs a fix. If the problem was the bank I would get an error saying my card is not compatible.

So what you are saying is that your bank list contained only Mastercard but Google managed to make your Visa card also work ?
