Heart rate accuracy sense 2

I’ve been a Fitbit user for many years and never had any issues. But I’ve noticed my heart rate while being active does not seem to be hitting the zones that I normally I get . I now have to literally be out of breath before it starts to rise above 102.. I have tried resetting, wearing it on other hand, tightening and loosening the strap. But to no avail. Any suggestions?

That was always an issue when I had Sense 2 and apparently it has never been fixed. Sense 2 HR during exercising is like random numbers generator in some cases. Haven't found solution to that other than retiring Sense 2.

This is my second Sense 2 the first one just up and died, both of them have/had this same problem. They take between 4 or 5 minutes before you get an accurate reading, this is pretty worthless when it comes to tracking your workout. I've tried all the fixes you mention and of course they didn't work, I don't see how this problem can be fixed, maybe a firmware fix, but I doubt it. I think Fitbit/Google should recall these defective devices and give us a choice of a replacement device. Fat chance right.
