I've had a Fitbit continuously for the last 14 years. At first it was the pocket tracker that just tracked steps. Most recently, I bought a Sense 2. When Google bought it, I was kind of excited. They do a good job with lots of stuff. I had Fiber for a while, I still have a Google Fi phone, and I thought they would add some cool features to the Fitbit as well. Unfortunately, I just can't support the descent into crappiness that it's become though.
I logged a ticket because the heart rate is inaccurate and it freezes on the watch display every couple days, even though the app shows what the watch is actually recording. The tier 1 guy couldn't help and said someone would e-mail me. That never happened. I can't say why... I've had the same e-mail address since the Gmail beta. You'd think they'd be able to find me.
The app sucks and doesn't show a lot of data points that it used to show. And now they've removed the web portal dashboard option so we can't even go look things up there or log our food online. Hunched over a phone trying to find the food I just ate is awful.
So, it's been a long, mostly good relationship but you've changed... you're not the same device I fell in love with 14 years ago... we're breaking up. I hope the people who owned Fitbit before made lots of money off the acquisition but I'm blocking your number and I've already found your replacement. Rest assured though, it's not me, it's you.
