So I have the sense 2 and have started a daily treadmill routine.  I have done three days of a 30 minute workout. My heart rate on watch does not give an accurate heart rate until I have been running for 15 minutes and then it starts to provide accurate heart rate.  This has happened for three days in a row, not accurate until 15 minutes in to my workout. Does anybody else have this problem? Is it a learning thing for the sense 2?

@tnhhair Sense 2 is rather bad at reading HR during activities. That's my experience. It happens that randomly it does work for some workouts but those are rare occurrences.

I experience the same issue. My heart rate does not read correct on my sense when compared to the machine reading and manual (old fashioned way) heart rate check. Considering reaching out to company it’s so far off.

Thanks for your reply. I tried to get answers through Fitbit but it was so frustrating. They said to wear higher on wrist (which I did already) Restart my watch (which I did) and then to reset the watch and start over. They just have a long list of "try this" and was on with them for over 20 minutes (could have been longer but I just gave up). They were no help that's why I asked the community. They have known about this problem with the inaccurate heart rate since the very beginning but they just give you the run around and don't ever address the problem. My husband has the Sense and he doesn't have this problem. The Sense 2 they charged us more money and gave us much less of a watch.  I think they will be losing a lot of loyal customers.

Sense 2 is a pathetic watch for HR tracking(one of the only features in this so called smartwatch). I have sold mine within a month because of its inaccurate HR and steps reading.

 

Better to look out for alternatives as fitbit is neither good at sports tracking nor as a smartwatch.
