How do I enable sleep tracking for the Sense 2 and Ace 3?

My son has had a Fitbit for a few weeks (Ace 3), he's training for a fun run. I recently got my own fitbit. He's 8 so does not have his own phone and I can switch between my parent view and child view. Now once I turn on my son's sleep mode I can't get out of it without deleting the sleep log, this has been fine because I was only using the app for my son. Now that I have my own Fitbit I want to track my own sleep, but I can't exit child mode without exiting sleep mode for my son.

Is there another way to turn on sleep mode? What am I missing?

Thank you!

@brar45   The Ace 3 and your Sense 2 both have automatic sleep tracking.  Ace 3 manual  You just need to wear your devices to sleep.  It sounds like you are using a Begin Sleep Now option in the child view.  You don't need to do this, if this is what you are doing.

Just to clarify one thing for you and your Sense 2.  Sleep mode is a specific setting, different from sleep tracking.  When you put your Sense 2 into Sleep Mode, the automatic screen wake is disabled (so the screen doesn't wake when you roll over in bed), the screen brightness gets set to Dim (so you don't light up the whole room when you wake the screen), and notifications are disabled.  You can manually turn this on and off in your Quick Settings (swipe down) or set a schedule to do it automatically.  Sense 2 manual

With your model, you don't need to turn on Sleep Mode.  All you have to do is sleep and your tracker will track it.  Once you wake up in the morning, switch your app from the Family View to your personal account and sync it to see your sleep data.

The Ace does have a Sleep Mode that needs to be turned on, however I don't have an Ace 3, so I can't advise on how to turn it on.  Regardless, once you switch back to the Family View in the app and take his tracker out of Sleep Mode, sync his tracker to record his sleep record.
