I have been doing Tracy Anderson exercises since 2014. I do her Abcentric sequence--for those who don't know, this collection features cardio and what Tracy calls "transform." The Cardio portion is a very intense dance workout (it's not like any other dance workout I've done before and I have done many; it's hard to describe). And after the 30 minutes of daily cardio, there is a daily 30-minute Transform segment featuring lots of ab crunches and some weights. There are 9 different Transform routines intended to confuse your muscles; while the cardio remains the same, you change Transform levels every 12 days. There is one rest day per week. My question is: How do you log Tracy Anderson? Does anyone here do TA and what workout do you use of the available options? I have a Fitbit Sense 2; I had a FitBit Flex 2 for years and my mom got me the Sense 2 for Christmas. Sometimes the Sense 2 seems to greatly undercount calories when I do Tracy Anderson's workout. I have tried to guesstimate and use "cardio kickboxing" for the cardio and "bootcamp" for the transform. TA is a really popular workout; I was hoping the Sense 2 would include this since it's more current.

@StilettoGimeno usually, if you don't know which type of activity to use then go with generic Workout and then you can rename it later to whatever you want. Calories don't depend on the type of workout but on HR only (and this is probably the issue not the type of workout you select).

Hi @StilettoGimeno.
As @t.parker says, I too would use the "workout" exercise. I also agree that for the most part these are just labels and have no bearing on how calories are calculated. In theory a runner could select "Run", "Walk" or "Hike" and still achieve the same outcome.

Thank you for your help! You've given me a better understanding of how it works.
