How to stop vibrations while exercising?

How do I stop the Fitbit from vibrating while I'm exercising? I play competitive sports and the vibration when I meet a daily or weekly goal is incredibly distracting. It doesn't stop when I hit the side button (no matter how many times I hit it) and it happens even when the device is set to Do Not Disturb.  The only solution seems to be to set impossibly high goals so it never happens, but if I need to do that, it seems like maybe I should just get rid of the device and use something else. Are there settings for people who use a Fitbit in an actual competitive sport? At this point, I've just taken to ripping it off my wrist and throwing it off the side of the court.

Thanks in advance

Hi @LuckyLu27 - there are quite a few places where occurrences can cause vibrations which depends on how the app and watch are set-up.

Most, if not all, can be turned off, either in the app or on the watch.

For instance, if you swipe up before starting an exercise (or game) you can adjust what alerts you do or don't want and in the Fitbit App tiles click the gear icon to configure settings and reminders.

Although vibrations are normally weak on this watch try setting the, to light.

Also putting the watch in Sleep mode will make it less likely to respond to wrist wakes and inadvertent manipulations whilst competing. [It doesn't cause it to register you as asleep.]

@LuckyLu27 you can supress AZM notifications in the individual activity settings. You can't suppress goal notifications. That annoys me, too especially that those notifications are unnecessarily long.

" Are there settings for people who use a Fitbit in an actual competitive sport?" - Fitbit isn't for people who are into any sport.
