Dear Engineering team and community,
I'm a new Fitbit user and just bought a Fitbit Sense 2 for my father to track his health. Unfortunately, he does not speak English and I was not careful enough to realize the Fitbit app, nor the watch has Hungarian language support.
I'm a native Hungarian who does speak English really well, additionally, I have 15 years of Software Engineering experience so I'd be glad to volunteer/contribute, helping in adding the Hungarian language as a supported language into Fitbit.
Please, comment and reach out to me if you see this as an option.

Hello @rukcgy and welcome to the Community. The only way to request Hungarian language support in by posting a request in the Product Feedback forum. The Product Feedback forum is monitored by the developers. I don't know if other language support is in the pipeline or not.
Product Experts aren't Google employees. But I don't think Google accepts volunteer contributions. It sounds like the Sense 2 won't meet your father's needs and you should return it unless you want to use it.
To be complete, I searched the Hungarian Google Store to see if a Pixel Watch might help. The PW3 will be sold in Hungary as a wi-fi version only. Unfortunately, all of the health and exercise information is in English. A supported language like French or German has that language on the device screen and app.

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.

Hi @LZeeW ,
First and foremost, thank you so much for your thorough investigation and the details you have provided. Just as a last try, I've also submitted this idea via the Product Feedback Forum, worst case it will be rejected or won't reviewed.
The major driver when I bought this watch was the extended battery life compared to other Google watches like the Pixel Watch series but as you described it sounds like that would not help either due to the language.
Fingers crossed, I hope that there will be some progress, worst case it will force my Father to learn more English. 🙂
