I think my Sense 2 is dead

Why oh why did I click the update??

Now my watch won't do anything but blink the logo, go black, or flash a big red X. I've looked through multiple posts on here, tried restarting it many times. This is infuriating. 

When I try the "update" it says it can't connect when the phone is literally 2 inches away from the fitbit on its charger.

Guess I'm shopping for something new right after I just bought more straps for this thing

I was going to post a video to show what's happening, but I guess you can't do that. 

It blinks between 2 versions of the fitbit logo, then goes to red x, then this pops up.

It acts like it's going to work and shows me glimpses of settings or exercise, but not the main face, and nothing stays on the screen for more than a few seconds.

Exactly same.  I updated my sense 2 and now it won't come back on.

Well, I put my sense 2 on the charger overnight last night (even though it still had 25% charge) and it is working again this morning!

I ended up going out to get a new one. I have a very dependent relationship with my fitbit.

On the way home, as I waited for a stoplight, I opened the app to figure out how to disconnect the old one, and it synced and acted completely normal!

Now I have to return the new one that I never even took out of the bag!
