In my case, it will stop tracking my walk randomly without warning and I won't notice until I'm two hours in or have completed my walk. Blood boils when I see it randomly stopped at 27 mins in or 43 mins, or whatever. So, I suppose it senses my increased stress in that moment. And yes, auto-detect is set to ignore.
Two years since launch and this is still an issue with not even a hint from Google that they have this on their radar or care about FitBit customers enough to fix the issue.
I mean, come on, it's a basic operational function for any fitness tracker or watch. Start tracking when user presses button to start tracking, then stop tracking when user presses button to stop tracking. What's so difficult about that? A premium device like this should not have a mind of its own, and Google/FitBit should have the respect for its loyal customers to address things like this. A basic function like this should work flawlessly from day one, especially on a premium product.
Sense 2 is nice in many ways, yet in many ways is a downgrade from the original Sense. It's obvious that Google would prefer Sense 2 and Versa 4 customers to "upgrade" to a Pixel Watch, but it really feels like they conned people with this one. I think loyal users were expecting more.
