Issues with crashing/workouts ending mid workout

  • Hi all, I recently upgraded to a sense 2 (less than a week) and am having no end of issues with it cutting out mid workout ending recording session or turning itself off... have tried resetting and factory resetting and still issues. Contacted customer service who told me I have to send a video of it doing it so they can investigate and won't offer replacement unless I do. I did ask how I'm meant to record my watch while exercising especially as I dont know at what point it will happen but they insist there is nothing else I can do. I have used fitbit for years and totally disappointed with my experience so far. Has anyone else got any suggestions as to what else I can do as I have a fitness watch that is not fit for purpose and despite being in warranty they aren't interested. Thanks in advance 🙂

Hi @Busylizzie1982 , you have a device that di8d not function out of the box. Fitbit has a 45 days return policy, no questions asked, in the US.

Same thing here. I just quits workout mode. Sometimes it asks yes/no, but most times just stops.

Same problem here. A nightmare! Fitbit doesn't fix any problem. We ought to take measures to stop this mistreatment with their customers

My old Sense 2 wasn’t accurately tracking heart rate during exercise. It showed HR in the 90’s when it should have been over 150. After speaking with them many times over many months, and doing everything they suggested, I demanded a new one because it was still within the 1 year warranty. So, they sent me a new Sense 2. BUT, the problem persists. I have to shut it off, move it, tighten it, loosen it, all while doing HIIT circuit training, and at some point it begins accurately tracking it. Because  of this, I got a Lionheart HR monitor that goes around your chest and works on a screen at my gym (F45). This shows the accurate HR while the Sense 2 is still showing a resting rate. They have no idea what the problem is.
