I've owned my Sense2 for less than 1 year from new.
My device keeps turning off, and it will not sync to my phone and it will not connect to my phone so is unable to update to the new software update..
After a full charge the screen sometimes displays a red cross.
I've just had to factory reset the watch and now it is connecting to my phone and downloading the latest software update for the watch. Hopefully this software update fixes the last software update which seemed to cause an array of problems with the watch's functionality.
The heartrate monitor has also been playing up since the last software update, for some reason the watch finds it much more difficult to recognise when the two fingers are touching the corners of the screen in the correct locations, so hopefully this new software update fixes that too.
Also I think these devices should all come with a protective cover because they are very prone to getting signs of wear all over the visible surfaces of the watch. does the glass even have a protective hardened coating because it scratches very easily from what I would call general daily usage working at a desk...

Hi @En1apcw - after the factory reset can you say which firmware you have, see unannounced update for reference.
Generally the scrern is quite resistant to scratches but can easily get cracked if knocked or dropped. You can get covers, or sets because they can fall off, which will protect the screen and aren't expensive. The edges are prone to wear and they may help, or make it worse, remains to be seen. See posts such as Sense 2 edge is coming off
As regards the heart rate monitor it can depend on what firmware version you have.
There are versions of the Fitbit App that can be problematic syncing as it can lose connection and requires troubleshooting but is generally not a watch problem.
