Lost or possibly stolen fitbit

Maybe someone could give me some help. My wife lost her fitbit yesterday, we've tried calling around and retracing her steps but with no joy. Possible it could've been stolen too we're not sure. Is it possible to still be tracked, I won't give up on finding it for her just yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Or any other free bluetooth locator phone app, but must be done before battery dies.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
