Maps app o Sense 2 won't work

Recently purchased a Fitbit sense 2 and Google maps won't work ever.ive called and was on the phone for over an hour trying to fix it.next came the emails for weeks now finally I got an email after days of silence saying to send it back to them after 2 weeks they'll ship another that will take a half of a week.this is the craziest experience I've ever had with a company.i can go on and on about the customer service or lack there of!

Can I ask which mobile device/OS you are using? So far this feature has only launched for Android users with iOS rolling out "early 2023" (according to this Fitbit help page here).

I am having the same problem. Sense 2 states to check all permissions. All are checked but will not connect. Set up Sense 2 four days ago. Tried several times and won’t connect. IOS updated to 16.5 last night and issue persists.

@Mckmike   You wrote that your Sense 2 is four days old.  You might have the firmware from when it was manufactured.  There was an update some time after its release.  Check your firmware version by tapping on your profile picture > Sense 2.  The current firmware is 20001.184.52.  I also have iOS 16.5.  I didn't add Google Maps to my Sense 2 when the iOS version was released.  I just did the setup with no problems.
