Multiple Devices step counting no longer supported

Just for information, after many years of using Fitbit trackers, one dirty one for the garden and 1 clean one for the rest of the time, Fitbit.com is no longer aggregating the steps correctly.

In other words no more can you have multiple linked trackers on the same account.

From Google Support:

Peter I understand I am really sorry for the experience, but this is how the app works now.

for the best experience possible you need to connect only a device at the time

@PeteH101   Fitbit created a limit when they introduced the Gallery.  You can only have one Gallery enabled model at a time.  Which two models are you trying to use together?  My husband works in a secure facility.  Believe it or not, he wears a Blaze to work and a Sense at home.  His account still combines steps.

I have a Sense and a Blaze too. But the steps from the two devices are no longer being aggregated correctly.

It's worked for 10 years but no more.

I think it's related to a software update whereby steps are sometimes double-counted before later correcting itself. With two devices this now seems broken.

@PeteH101   I will double check with my husband after he comes home and we have both devices together.  It's a real shame if this is true.

@PeteH101   My husband's steps from his two Fitbits are syncing like always.  What Fitbit app version do you have?
