On wrist calls stopped working

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My sense 2 was receiving on wrist text notifications and calls, I changed none of the settings but the calls have stopped even showing up on the sense 2, but still receiving texts. I have power cycled the sense 2 and the phone but no joy, is there anything specific I should be checking/doing to get this working as it is one of the main features that I use.

Thanks

Have you set the Sense 2 up as a new device in the Fitbit app?

I am finding that you have to re-pair it all the time so that it syncs with your phone.  But it’s ridiculous how often it stops working.

Agreed, though there's not another workaround that I'm aware of for this.

Am also having the same problem need to pair it again and again

This also happens most every day on my Sense 2.😥

This may be a hard pill to swallow but the only other option I can think of is to do a factory reset on the device.

I usually open the on wrist calls setup, and watch the screen as it fixes this.

If it doesn't fix, I usually get promoted to the steps needed.

If not, I go through the setup process

@Rlb69 as for re-pair, opening the Fitbit, the app should give a prompt asking for permission to comnect/pair. A user can not directly pair a Fitbit or any BT low energy device

Above the today tab, click your profile picture, then, click your device which is the Sense 2. After that, click wrist calls, make sure they all are enabled. Keep in mind that wrist calls can only be picked up within 30 ft.

so when you say repair do you actually mean remove it from the app and readd as a new device? I unpaired the Sense 2 and sense2 calls from my bluetooth device list and repaired but it made no difference?

Yeah I was kind of getting to that decision myself, far from ideal but there is no point in having something that only half works 😫

Not since I first set it up and it subsequently stopped working?

@NickW1970 I don't know what is meant by repair, but removing from the app is removing the device from your fitbit account. Possibly losing any unsync data.

You say that you removed Sense 2 and calls from your list of trusted BT devices, then repaired. I'm not sure what you mean by repair. If you did this repair through your phones bt menu. The process should have failed. If it was successful, you need to remove the Sense 2 and calls. Then pow the fitbit app. If the tracker is still connected. You should see secret popups to agree to. Now setup calls

In the end I had to do a factory reset which resolved the issue. Thanks for all your responses

I have the original Sense, and all of a sudden, it stopped taking calls/texts. I updated the software, and still same issue. Sense Controls keeps disconnecting from Bluetooth when I move from Wi-Fi to 5G. I have to keep pairing it over and over and over. I tried resetting from scratch and still same issue. So aggravating.
