Hi @KenDSr - you don't need premium the watch will work fine without it, it's just a paying option.

Surprised that I didn't get more responses? So I can safely assume that the Versa 4 and the Sense 2 will function without a Premium account? That's great. Thanks for letting me know. I will be making a purchase soon!

@KenDSr   I have Premium and my husband doesn't.  Premium gives your more personalized health insights, access to the video/audio workouts, and your daily readiness score, among other things.  This Premium page shows some of the relevant app screens.  It really is up to you.

If you are in the US, you might want to wait just a little bit to see if there is a Mother's Day Sale.

Kohls has a nice sale on Fit Bits right now if you have one of their stores near you... I got a Sense 2 for $50 off and earned $10 Kohls cash for every $50 spent...
